We are pleased to introduce Al-Moutahed Co. s.a.l, a subsidiary of Al Moutahed Group Holding s.a.l, established in Lebanon in 1960.
Al Moutahed Co. has grown to become one of the largest flexible packaging manufacturers in the Middle East region. It has a long history and rich experience in Flexogravure and Rotogravure printing, using the latest machinery and most advanced technology to produce high quality packaging products tailored to our customers’ needs.
One of our pride accomplishments is winning the OPPACK Award 2000 sponsored by MOBIL PLASTIC EUROPE in Luxembourg.
In August 2008, we were certified under the international standard ISO 9001 by QMI-SAI Global. In November 2008, we joined SEDEX. In January 2012, we attained the ISO 22000 certificate, and in January 2013, we were certified for BRC/IOP Global standard for packaging and packaging materials with “A” degree.
In February 2011, we implemented the latest Cerruti Rotogravure printing machine, and in May 2012 we installed pouch making machine for doyen (stand up pouches), zipper bags and all types of ready bags (gusseted, 2 side seal, 3 side seal…). In December 2012, we expanded our waxing facilities with the latest machinery for wax lamination, wax zoning and full wax coating and implemented a new line of production for chocolate collections wrapping material, printed and embossed, and in August 2015, we inaugurated a new coating machine for cold seal products.
Our company manufactures all types of wrapping media used in one and multi-layers (multiplex) packaging, servicing several sectors,including foodstuff (confectionery, chocolate, chips, milk, powder, nuts, coffee, spices, dried fruits, dairy products and biscuits…) water, beverages and juices, detergents, cosmetics and beauty care products. The media vary from polypropylene (Transparent / Metalized / White / Pearlised), polylabels for beverages, inmold labels, PVC Shrink, waxed paper, all kinds of Twisting material including twist with inner and outer strip, polyamide for vacuum, polyester and aluminum triplex (used mainly for Juices, Milk powder, Nuts, Coffee, and household cleaning liquids), Cold seal products, Lidding material (Mixpap, Alu, Bopp, Pe…), Polyethylene, and chocolate wrapping material (Weddings and Celebrations), and gift wrappers.
Our chemical lab is equipped with the latest gaschromatography system and other technological equipments which enable us to provide accurate technical data for various printing materials.
Our state of the art technology in the design department also provides customers with the added value of innovative packaging design services.
Al Moutahed Co. exports its products to many countries in Africa, Europe, Asia, ME, Gulf region, North America, England, Canada, and Northern Africa. We are also considered one of the major suppliers for a number of leading European brands in the Middle East such as KRAFT (Cadbury-Adams), Henkel, Dolly’s, and Nestle for whom we have been a worldwide approved supplier for more than ten years. In addition, we supply wrapping material for other renowned brands such as Pepsi, Coca Cola, Lipton, Smeds, and Nestle Water.
